  • CREW TO WEAR HARD HATS AND INFLATABLE LIFE JACKETS
  • COMMUNICATION TO BE MAINTAINED WITH CUSTOMER VESSEL AT ALL TIMES
  • CUSTOMER VESSEL MUST INFORM SUPPLY VESSEL OF ANY CHANGES OF COURSE AND OR SPEED DURING THE TRANSFER
  • THE FOLLOWING IS TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL TIMES
  • *APPLYING STERN POWER ON THE TRANSFER SIDE
  • *GAINING STERN WAY
  • *SWINGING THE STERN AWAY FROM THE SUPPLY VESSEL

  • THE MASTER IS TO ABORT OR SUSPEND THE OPERATION IF HE IS IN ANY DOUBT ABOUT SEA CONDITIONS OR ANY OTHER FACTORS
  • ALL TRANSFERRING PERSONNEL ARE TO WEAR INFLATABLE LIFE JACKETS AT ALL TIMES
  • DECK CREW WILL ALWAYS ASSIST TRANSFERRING PERSONNEL AND TRANSFERRING PERSONNEL ARE TO LISTEN VERY CAREFULLY AS TO CAPTAIN AND CREWS INSTRUCTIONS AT ALL TIMES
  • IT IS PREFERRED TO DO A STARBOARD SIDE TRANSFER UNLESS WEATHER IS ONLY PERMITTING PORT SIDE TO BE DONE.
